Weeknotes for 2026, Week 26

Most of this week has been spent dealing with allergies, so I didn't get up to much.

Work

• Content migration is about to start in earnest, so I'm heads down on the last bit of technical work in the way of that.

Personal Dev

• Setup mpd / rmpc as part of my attempt to move away from streaming services. Also put together a script for tracking listens.
• Redesigned my uses page.

Media

• Finished reading Parable of the Sower. I can tell I'll come back to this at some point.
• Finished reading The Forever War. Didn't take to this initially, but it really grew on me once the time dilation element of the story developed.

  I played a ton of Galaxies growing up. It's fascinating to hear what was going on behind the scenes, and about the different design constraints placed on the team.
